LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 28, 2022) – Encore Bank recently signed a lease agreement to secure a permanent location in the Apex SouthPark development at 3151 Apex Drive, Suite 102-A in Charlotte, NC.

Encore Bank will take a prominent position in this highly visible next-generation, mixed-use development, with a 6,100 square-foot space on the first floor when the buildout is completed this winter. Childress Klein represented the landlord in the transaction.

“Located in the heart of SouthPark, the Apex is the perfect location for Encore Bank to establish its presence in Charlotte,” said Ben Freeman, Encore’s Charlotte market president. “Having the office located here has been my goal since I joined Encore. In October of 2021, Encore Bank announced it would be expanding its footprint into Charlotte with Freeman leading the expansion. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Freeman is a leader in commercial banking with expertise in leadership and team management, business development, financial analysis and treasury management. Freeman is currently building a team of dedicated and talented banking professionals while he works on the construction plan and interior design for the permanent, full-service branch.
