LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 23, 2022) – Encore Bank recently signed a lease agreement to secure its permanent location for its Plano office at Headquarters 1 in the heart of Legacy Town Center, at 7800 Dallas Pkwy in Plano.
Encore Bank will take a prominent position in the development, with a 4,050 square foot space on the first floor when the buildout is completed in September of this year. Northway Properties represented the landlord in the transaction.
“The big selling point for this property is its location. When we move into the building, our office will face the tollway on Headquarters Drive, which will make us easily accessible to our clients no matter where they are in Collin County,” said Plano Market Manager Jenny Johnson. “We will also have lobby exposure on the first floor and signage placed prominently on the building’s exterior. Northway Properties has been great to work with and has been accommodating with all our needs.”
Corinne Mitchell, owner of Northway Properties, said she is thrilled Encore Bank has chosen Headquarters 1 to establish its Collin County location. “As we are seeing tenants come back into the office and leasing demand pick up, having a private bank like Encore on-site is invaluable. Not only will Encore provide convenience to our existing tenants but Jenny Johnson and her team of bankers bring a level of service and talent that will exceed expectations.”
Established in 2019, Encore Bank is the fastest organically growing bank in the country among banks with total assets greater than $750 million, according to data collected from S&P Global Market Intelligence. The bank is currently operating in 19 markets across nine states. Six of those markets are in Texas: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Austin, San Antonio and Plano.
In September of 2021, Encore Bank announced it would be expanding its footprint into Collin County with Johnson leading the expansion. Johnson, who has more than 20 years of banking experience in the Dallas Fort Worth area, is currently building a team of 6 to 8 dedicated and talented banking professionals as she works on the construction plan for the permanent, full-service branch.
“We are building a different kind of bank that combines innovative technology with a concierge approach to service delivery,” said Johnson, “I know our clients throughout Collin County are going to love it.”
