LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Feb. 3, 2023) – Encore Bank celebrated the opening of its first full-service branch in North Carolina at a grand opening event held on Feb. 1. The new office is located in the highly visible Apex SouthPark development at 3151 Apex Drive, Suite 102-A in Charlotte.

“The entire Charlotte team is humbled to be opening Encore Bank’s newest office location,” said Ben Freeman, Encore’s Charlotte market president. “We are grateful to the community for welcoming us, and we look forward to building upon Encore Bank’s already impressive entrance in the Charlotte market.”

Encore Bank has taken a prominent position in the Apex SouthPark development with a 6,100 square-foot space on the first floor.

“Our permanent home here in the South Park area of Charlotte is the perfect location to showcase our team and provide Charlotte with Encore’s suite of concierge banking products.”

In addition to Charlotte, Encore Bank has a presence in four other markets in the Carolinas: Charleston, Greenville, the Triangle (Raleigh) and the Piedmont Triad (Winston-Salem). A full-service branch was opened in Charleston in September of last year, and according to Michael Sharpton, Encore’s regional president of the Carolinas, full-service branches will be open soon in the other two markets

“The Piedmont office, which will be located on the second floor of the Bailey South building in Winston-Salem, is expected to be open by April,” said Sharpton. “Our permanent locations in Greenville and the Triangle will be open later this year.
